Would you walk 60 miles
to save a life?
I will so you won't have to!

1 woman dies every 12 minutes from Breast Cancer!

* I am walking 60 miles in 3 days, August 2-4, from Boulder to Denver, Colorado.

* The event I am participating in is the Avon Breast Cancer 3-Day. It is a part of the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade, a nonprofit organization that assists women afflicted with breast cancer.

* In the past 4 years, walks such as this, held around the country, have raised over $116 million, which has gone directly to fund research and breast cancer charities.

Did you know:
· Over 1,000,000 women in America have undetected breast cancer?
· Daily breakthroughs are making it increasingly possible that we will live
to see a cure for cancer?
· One in nine women will suffer from breast cancer?
· This year over 40,000 women will die from breast cancer?

* My first motivation for participating in this walk came from my grandmothers. They are both survivors, each having won their battle against breast cancer more than 15 years ago. Their lives epitomize love, kindness, and giving. It is because of their example that I have the enthusiasm and determination to help make a difference.

Why I walk:
~ To Honor the Fallen
~ To Celebrate the Survivors
~ To Hope for a Future Without Breast Cancer

* This is a big commitment for me, and I need all the support I can get - emotional, physical and yes - financial. I’m willing to walk 60 miles to raise money for breast cancer research. You can join me, without taking a step.

* I have agreed to raise at least $1,900 by July 25th. I have already donated $250 to the cause, and have raised $1901! Please support me in my efforts. Any amount you are comfortable donating will be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to sharing my progress with you!

With gratitude,
